After working for the Siena University spin-off company, in 2004 she began cooperating with the Institute of Legal Information Theory and Techniques (ITTIG) of the CNR, working on the PAeSI (Public Administration and Immigrants) project.
The PAeSI project aims at improving the dissemination, transparency and standardization of the information regarding procedures and norms in the field of immigration in Italy through the Web.
The project is conducted in collaboration with the Tuscany Regional Administration, the Prefecture of Florence and additional public bodies which are involved in immigration at different levels.
Additionally from 2008 to 2009 she cooperated with the Tuscany Telematic Regional Net.In 2011 she began working as a temporary research fellow in ITTIG’s research program “Support Systems for the legislative, judicial and for the public administration” where she works with ICT, public administration and immigration.
She attended many specialization courses regarding Italian and European immigration law, methods and tools for access and online dissemination of legal information, E-government, web design, usability and accessibility, Web 2.0 and she conducted study visits to public institutions involved in immigration matters in Sweden, Denmark and Germany. In 2014 she attended the “European Union Law and Policy on Immigration and Asylum” summer school at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
