OBJECTIVE
Free Access to Law Movement is a cultural initiative grouping together projects of various institutions from different countries dealing with legal information issues, aimed at providing free access to legal resources.
The list of the participating institutions is available on FALM website.
On October 2002 the 4th Conference "Law via Internet" was held in Montréal and LIIs have produced a Declaration on Free Access to Law, to be considered as the agreed-upon document signed by the various participating institutions, thus reaffirming their common philosophy on free access to law.
Through the signature of the above mentioned Declaration ITTIG becomes full member of the FAL; it adheres to its fundamental principles, supporting free acces to public legal information in Italy while cooperating with LIIs to create international networks fostering free access to law.
