OBJECTIVE
The objective of the operational unit will consist in:
- defining a structured documentary corpus containing the constitutional texts in Italian language that have been published until 1849, the texts in French language that refer to the projects of general Francisco de Miranda (1798-1808) and the texts in Spanish language that refer to the projects of Simon Bolivar (1819-1828);
- defining a corpus on fundamental rights made up of constitutional texts in force in countries of Latin America;
- creation of a theseaurus on the right to the environment and the right to life;
- analysis of Russian legal terminology, civil codes and constitutional bills (Agenzia 2000). |
ACTIVITY IN 2002
1) The constitutions in force in Italy, Spain, France and Paraguay have been examined and electronically memorized.
From the constitutional terms a lexical set regarding the right to the environment and the right to life has been created.
2) Contemporaneously, hierarchical lists of terms identified as descriptors of Thesaurus from the Institute databases have been drawn up and then compared with similar terms taken from constitutional texts.
3) In the context of the activities described above, participation with written papers to:
- the International Seminar "Dal Tribuno della plebe al Difensore del popolo. Dal Jus gentium al Tribunale penale internazionale".
- the international seminar "La Costituzione della Repubblica bolivariana del Venezuela". |
