Internal organization

The Institute is divided into research job orders / work packages, and an Administrative and technical services structure. Other organs for management support are: the Juridical Staff (composed by: Dr. Sebastiano Faro, Dr. Manola Cherubini, Dr. Elisabetta Marinai, Dr. Marina Pietrangelo) five specialized commissions.

The Personnel of the Institute is composed by research fellows, technologists, technicians and administrative staff.
The ITTIG also benefits from the contribution of external researchers through the awarding of research and study grants and work contracts; it also periodically hosts researchers from other Italian and international research institutions. 

Logistics

The Institute is located in Florence and it has one research unit in  Rome.
